Reis
Hey, welcome to BitAThat.com

I'm Reis and the site that you see before you was lovingly (read: painfully) created by me and Jim.

We basically started the site because we had read one too many weblogs and needed a place to host our pictures and since it's started we had a lot of interest for other things and started the forum, which has now grown nicely.

You may be (or not) asking yourself "why the name BitAThat.com?" Well it came from when i was back in college and one of my friends (steve) used to say and it basically means "I would like a bit of that" and was used mostly in context to hot women/girls. I started using this around Jim and we never really stopped using it.

Me and Jim are real life friends and we used to work part time at the same place and went to the same school. Now-a-days we have "proper" full time jobs and i'm in the IT industry.

Anywho, i hope you enjoy the site and sorry if we neglect the weblog, we're lazy and most stuff goes into the forum :)
Added my gamercard if you wanna join me on Xbox Live:

Not an awful lot to say really, just going to give a general idea of whom and what I am. My real names James, but I’ve always been known as Jim. I’m 18, date of birth is the 2nd March ’87, still living with the elders at home in Newark.

I’ve just left my previous job at Waitrose, which I started when I joined 6th form at Magnus, and now I’m employed by The Barcode Warehouse. I’ve always said an office environment was never for me, but it’s a change from the norm and my position has good careers opportunities. If anything, its good experience and a very good company too work for. My interests include photography, cars/motorsport, music&films, sport, keep fit / weight training and spending time friends/family.. I love the ‘great outdoors’, and enjoy a challenge. I’ve always been keen on the RAF or the Royal Marines. Everything about them is just me. Just right now, I don’t want to part from what I’ve got. Future plans, who knows. See where I go with my current job. I’d like to look into Fitness or Personal training, and again the RAF/Marines. However I’m still young, and have plenty of time to consider the above.

Reis and I set up ‘Bitathat’ just over a year ago now; it started as one page with Links, News, a Weblog and an ‘About Page’. Today, we’ve gained a packed Gallery of our days/nights out and an active Forum with 50+ members. It’s just a little place for us all to keep up to date with each other, for thoughts and views to be shared and somewhere to visit on those cold, dark winter nights.

Regards, Jim.
